Geometric Shapes Illusions

Felice Varini is a french artists who paints on buildings and landscapes to create an optical illusion. His illusions make it seem almost like it was photoshopped. He paints the buildings and landscape in a way so that when you look from a certain angle, you see geometric shapes that appear to be floating on top of scenery.

He thinks it’s great when people find that right spot to stand in so his artwork makes sense, but he doesn’t get disappointed if they don’t, because it’s still art no matter how you see it.

Here is one of his newest work:

I think his works are brilliant and grand because of the perspectives of each artwork and sometimes the size of the landscape he uses. It is amazing to look from different angles and find the perfect angle from where the geometric shapes look like an illusion.
